This thread will show you all the basics of elements and the advantages and disadvantages of having them and explain the status debuffs.

Elements
---------------
Fire:A element that is based on doing destruction and causing injuries over time,this element is strong against the Element Wood and will do x2 the damage if used against something with Wood Element in it,Fire Element is weak to Aqua Element and will do 1/2 the original damage if a Fire based attack is used against something that has Aqua Element in it.

Aqua:A element that is based on the calmness of its surrounding's,this element is strong against the Element Fire and will do x2 the damage if used against something with Fire Element in it,Aqua Element is weak to Elec(Electricity)Element and will do 1/2 the original damage if a Aqua based attack is used against something that has Elec Element in it.

Elec:A element that is based on the ferocity of the sky,this element is strong against the Element Aqua and will do x2 the damage if used against something with Aqua Element in it,Elec Element is weak to Wood Element and will do 1/2 the original damage if Elec based attack is used against something that has Wood Element in it.

Wood:A element that is based on the acts of nature,this element is strong against the Element Elec and will do x2 the damage if used against something with Elec Element in it,Wood Element is weak to Fire Element and will do 1/2 the original damage if a Wood based attack is used against something that has Fire Element in it.

Status Debuffs
---------------------
Confusion:Upon being Confused the monster or player who is confused has a 60% chance of hitting them selves with there own attack or a 50% chance of attacking one of their Party Members/Monster Horde Members if they are currently in a Party/Monster Horde.

Burn:Usually caused by Fire based attacks,the monster/player who is inflicted with Burn will take damage over each turn taking away 5% of hp for every one of there turns,will also decrease the attack power of all attacks by 40%.

Paralysis:Usually caused by Elec based attacks,the monster/player who is inflicted with Paralysis will have their Speed and Awareness decreased by 50%,has a 30% chance of not letting the player/monster make their move during their turn.

Frozen:Usually caused by Aqua based attacks,the monster/player who is inflicted with Frozen Status will not be able to make their move for 2-3 turns,increases the monster/player's Defence by 60% while Frozen.

Sleep:Upon falling to Sleep the monster or player who is Sleeping will not be able to make their move for 1-2 turns,will recover 30% of the monster/player's hp every turn while Sleeping.
